VIEWPOINTS 2005

The topic for October 5, 2005, was "Catastrophe: Viewpoints on Marine Disasters".  The seminar was moderated by John P. Woods, Esq. of Thacher, Profitt and Wood and the speakers, in order of appearance, were Raymond P. Hayden, Esq. - Hill Rivkins & Hayden, Patrick J. Bonner, Esq. - Freehill, Hogan & Mahar, Bruce P. Dalcher, Esq. - Law Office of Bruce P. Dalcher, Joseph E. Farrell, Jr. - Resolve Towing & Salvage, Port Everglades, Robert Kunkel - Apex Marine Ship Management, and Jonathan S. Spencer - The Spencer Company, New York.  New York State Insurance Department continuing education and CLE credits were available.  The speakers addressed a scenario revolving around a hypothetical collision between an oil carrier and a container ship giving rise to pollution of the New Jersey coastline.  The following materials can be downloaded:
